WEEK ONE
Terms of Service
Last updated 12 October 2026
1. Who we are
WEEK ONE (week-one.com) is operated by Kiran Mistry. Contact: week-one@outlook.com.
2. What WEEK ONE is — and isn't
WEEK ONE gives general meal-planning, budgeting and fitness-support information. It is not medical or dietetic advice and is not personalised to any medical condition. Speak to a doctor or registered dietitian before changing your diet or exercise if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, an eating disorder or take medication. Food prices are typical UK supermarket guide prices and change often.
3. Free access
A new account gets 14 days of free access. No payment card is needed and you will not be charged automatically. When the 14 days end, paid features stop unless you choose to buy access.
4. Paid options
- Monthly — £9.99 a month. A recurring subscription charged on the same date each month until you cancel. Price includes VAT.
- Two years — £49.99 once. A single payment for 2 years of access. It does not renew automatically and there is nothing to cancel.
- Returning-member renewal — £42.49 once. If you have bought two-year access before, you can buy another 2 years at this price, available from 30 days before your current access ends. New time starts when your current access ends.
Payments are handled by Stripe. We tell you the price and billing frequency before you pay.
5. Starting straight away
Access starts as soon as payment is confirmed. Before paying, we ask you to confirm that you want access to start immediately and that you understand you then lose your 14-day right to cancel for change of mind. Your other legal rights are not affected.
6. Cancelling the monthly plan
Cancel any time from your Account page using “Manage subscription”, which opens our secure Stripe billing page. Cancelling stops future payments; you keep access until the end of the month you have already paid for. We do not refund part-months.
7. Failed monthly payments
If a monthly payment fails, Stripe retries your card and you keep access for 3 days. After that, access is paused until a payment succeeds, and it comes back as soon as one does. If all retries fail, the subscription may be cancelled. You can update your card from Manage subscription.
8. Switching from monthly to two years
You can switch to £49.99 for 2 years at any time. Once that payment is confirmed we stop your monthly plan so you are not charged monthly again. The month you have already paid for is not refunded or credited. If the two-year payment fails, your monthly plan carries on unchanged.
9. Refunds and payment disputes
- If we refund a two-year purchase in full, that access ends.
- If we refund the current month of a monthly plan in full, the plan and access end straight away.
- If a card payment is disputed with your bank, access linked to that payment is paused while the dispute is open. If the dispute is resolved in your favour as the account holder, contact us and we will restore access.
- Nothing in these terms removes your statutory rights, including rights if the service is not as described or is faulty. Please contact us first so we can try to put things right.
10. Your account
Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for what happens on your account. We may suspend accounts that are used unlawfully or to abuse the service.
11. Liability
We work to keep WEEK ONE accurate and available but cannot guarantee it is error-free or uninterrupted. We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
12. Complaints and contact
Email week-one@outlook.com. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales; if you live elsewhere in the UK you keep the protections of your local law.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. We will tell you about significant changes before they apply. Price changes to the monthly plan will be notified in advance, and you can cancel before they take effect.
